At Quality Professionals Career Center, students enrolled in the Medical Billing and Coding program will acquire the skills and knowledge needed for success in this essential healthcare role. The program covers a range of topics, including:

Healthcare Professional Roles: Students will learn about the various roles of healthcare professionals, including medical billers and coders. Payment Methodologies & Insurance Forms: Students will learn to apply industry-standard payment methodologies and complete forms for primary and secondary insurance. They will also develop the skills to create accurate medical bills for patients.

Medical Coding: A key part of the program involves training students to classify and assign diagnostic and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems. They will learn how to apply these systems in various healthcare settings, ensuring proper documentation and billing.
